Yesterday at Bath Iron Works, the keel was laid for John Basilone (DDG 122). During the ceremony, sponsors of the ship Ryan Manion and Amy Looney welded their names on the keel plate. “We hereby declare that the keel of the future USS John Basilone has been truly and fairly laid!”
